Acer Recruitment are working alongside a Nursery in the borough of Bromley, who is seeking a Forest School qualified Leader to share their skills with the team and carry out Forest School activities with the children. This is a full-time or part-time, all year round permanent position between 30 - 40 hours per week. Salary depending on capability and experience.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Forest School Leader to lead and develop a high-quality Forest School provision that is purposeful, enriching, and transformative for children, staff, and families. Set in idyllic natural surroundings, our Forest School provides a rich and inspiring environment where children are encouraged to explore, discover, and develop a deep connection with nature. You will plan and deliver meaningful outdoor learning experiences that nurture curiosity, confidence, resilience, and wellbeing.

Working collaboratively with a dedicated team of Early Years educators, you will seamlessly combine outstanding EYFS practice with the Forest School ethos and approach, ensuring learning is child-led, play-based, and rooted in authentic outdoor experiences. You will motivate and support staff, promote reflective practice, and ensure all provision takes place within a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment. Building strong, positive partnerships with parents and carers will be central to your role, enabling families to engage with and value their children’s Forest School journey.

Working closely with the Forest School Manager, you will contribute to the smooth, effective running of the provision and support its continued development and success.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a recognised Forest School qualification (Level 3 or above)
  • Has a strong understanding of high-quality EYFS practice
  • Is passionate about outdoor learning and child-led approaches
