Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer - Mechanical Focus
We are seeking a QA/QC Engineer with a mechanical focus to join our team.
You will play a key role in ensuring that mechanical systems and components meet the highest standards of quality and compliance throughout the construction phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and quality checks on mechanical installations and components.
- Review and verify documentation, welding records, and material certificates.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Liaise with contractors and project teams to resolve quality issues.
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports and records.
- Support audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
CSWIP 3.1 or
PCN Level 2 certification (mandatory).
- Proven experience in QA/QC within mechanical engineering, ideally in nuclear or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of welding processes, NDT, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to secure BPSS security clearance.
Desirable
- Experience working on nuclear licensed sites.
- Knowledge of quality systems and procedures.
- Additional NDT or welding qualifications.
