Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and update system documentation for control logic, mechanical and thermo‑hydraulic design, safety, HMI, and testing, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
  • Ensure alignment with Diesel Supplier design across mechanical, I&C, electrical, and layout interfaces.
  • Define I&C functional requirements and produce associated documentation, including Functional Requirements, Detailed Functional Diagrams (DFD), Functional Test Platform (FTP) specifications, and logic descriptions.
  • Verify supplier mechanical and electrical designs, ensuring compliance with internal requirements and updating internal databases.
  • Analyze input data, requirements, and lessons learned from other stations.
  • Review supplier deliverables such as P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and component lists.

Ideal Candidate

  • Degree in Electrical, Systems, Process (preferred), or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in I&C and/or process engineering.
  • Experience in the nuclear or other highly regulated industries (oil & gas, aviation, etc.).
  • Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive approach to collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Fluent in English; French proficiency is a plus.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of EPR system design, I&C architecture, and safety classification.
  • Familiarity with diesel generator electrical systems.
  • Experience working on operational plants or industrial sites.
