Freelance Remote Opportunity: We’re seeking an experienced Tech Lead / Senior Software Engineer to spearhead our GenAI Code Initiatives. This is a hands-on, freelancing remote role focused on evaluating, improving, and advancing AI-driven code generation systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Code Generation & Refinement: Write, evaluate, and refine complex code solutions. This is a hands-on technical role, not purely managerial.
  • Code Validation: Design and implement advanced frameworks to rate and test model-generated code, including automated test suites and benchmarking systems.
  • Code Quality & Efficiency: Analyze and enhance both human-written and model-generated code for performance, correctness, and maintainability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with research, engineering, and product teams to integrate evaluation insights and drive model improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 7–10+ years of proven experience in building and deploying complex software solutions.
  • Languages (Priority): Strong proficiency in Python, Java, C, C++, or JavaScript — especially for evaluating and refining model-generated code.
  • Code Evaluation Expertise: Skilled in developing test harnesses, assessing code for correctness, efficiency, and security, and defining measurable code quality metrics.
  • GenAI Familiarity (Preferred): Understanding of LLMs, code generation, and model evaluation/fine-tuning workflows.

Preferred Skills

  • Priority Languages: Python, Java, C, C++, JavaScript
  • Domain Expertise: STEM fields, data analysis/science, or data visualization
  • Technical Stack: Web visualization platforms, SQL/databases, JSON, HTML, Markdown, and modern data libraries.
