Aceolution is looking for Screening & Gear Management talent in Culver City, New York, and London. Client TV+ is dedicated to providing exceptional media experiences through innovative screening and review processes. About the Role
The Screening & Gear Management role is crucial for ensuring seamless operations in our screening rooms. This position involves managing screenings, providing technical support, and maintaining high standards of quality control.
Responsibilities
- Operate and manage screenings in Client TV+ Screening and Review Rooms, including virtual and internal sessions (15 per week).
- Provide onsite support (M–F, 9AM–6PM) and respond to the Post Screenings inbox.
- Schedule and coordinate screenings in Client TV+ Screenings and review rooms using tools like Screenbooker, Airtable, and Helpscout.
- Perform editorial QC and corrections (~20+ per week) using Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and Flow Capture.
- Communicate screening requirements and collaborate with other technical departments.
- Schedule and operate internal and virtual screenings (approximately 15+ per week).
- Download and transfer DCPs to the projection system and coordinate screening files and KDMs with the appropriate contacts.
- Manage file downloads/uploads and transfers using Aspera, PIX, and GDC player.
- Monitor in-progress screenings for any technical issues and report any equipment or maintenance issues.
- Handle immersive content and Client Vision Pro demos, including file prep and lens setup.
- Operate and troubleshoot digital cinema systems (e.g., Black Magic, Crestron Systems) and projection equipment.
- Monitor and adjust sound/image quality (Dolby Atmos, color spaces, aspect ratios).
- Track and deploy gear for remote content review (~12+ per week), including auxiliary equipment like mics and closed captioning devices.
- Maintain and organize screening files, KDMs, and DCPs.
- Conduct routine maintenance and coordinate vendor repairs for screening systems.
Qualifications
- Background in media production, post-production, or digital cinema operations.
- Technical certifications or training in digital cinema systems and software tools.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive screening practices.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality service (95%+ yield, 99%+ accuracy).
Required Skills
- Proficiency in digital cinema standards: DCP, KDM, ProRes, GDC player, Black Magic.
- Software expertise in Airtable, Helpscout, PIX, Flow Capture, Aspera, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Crestron Systems.
- Strong operational skills in QC, scheduling, and screening logistics.
- Familiarity with post-production workflows: dailies, WIPs, brand reviews, archival, clip pulls.
- Effective communication for troubleshooting, onboarding, and stakeholder coordination.
- Asset management and documentation aligned with security protocols.
