ACE Vets is seeking a confident Veterinary Surgeon with a strong interest and proven competence in surgery to join our growing team across our four clinics. This role is ideal for a clinician who takes pride in delivering high-quality surgical care while contributing to a collaborative, supportive, and forward-thinking practice.
As a locally owned, independent practice, we are committed to being the most trusted veterinary provider in our community. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional clinical outcomes, supporting clients through clear communication, and strengthening our team culture.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of surgical procedures to a high standard, with a strong focus on patient safety and positive clinical outcomes.
- Uphold best practice in perioperative care, including case planning, anaesthesia oversight, pain management, and post-operative follow-up.
- Ensure patient welfare is always prioritised, reflecting our Always Animal First value in every decision.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, supporting informed decision-making and continuity of care.
- Work collaboratively with veterinary nurses and colleagues to ensure efficient, high-quality clinical delivery.
- Contribute to the development of surgical protocols and continuous improvement of clinical standards across the practice.
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records in line with professional and regulatory requirements.

Up to 4 shifts per week - 3x 08.30am-7pm and one rotational 08.30am-3pm shift. The role will also include 1:5 Saturday mornings: 09.00am-2.00pm.
