Hi! We’re Ace & Tate and we make glasses. It sounds fairly simple, and that’s the whole point. Since our start in Amsterdam in 2013 we’re here to inject a good dose of common sense into our industry by making well-designed, quality eyewear accessible to everyone. Great fits that last, for all eyes. Are you ready to make a real impact as a Store Manager (FT) in our store in London ?

Just ask yourself, are you…
Cheerful? (Our glass is always half full)
Committed? (We walk the talk and deliver)
Accessible? ( We are approachable, open-minded, inclusive)
Straightforward? (We cut the crap)

Your role in the team:
Glasses are only one side of the story; excellent sales advice and customer service are the other. Our Store Managers build a first class store experience with the team. Together with the Assistant Store Manager and the Optician you will be responsible for training and leading our Sales Assistants on the sales floor. So, besides bookkeeping you will also:

  • Fit frames;
  • Polish and cut lenses;
  • Recruit and train new team members;
  • Use and transfer your retail experience;
  • Give customers tailored style advice.

You can make a true impact through management- and retail experience, people- and leadership skills, and the ability to convert analysis into actions.

Don\’t worry, we\’ve got you covered with:
Dedicated onboarding per role;
1:1 training with a buddy;
Online and offline learning environment.

Our jobs are for everyone, even if you don’t have previous optic experience. Even if you don’t wear glasses.

Here is what we’ll offer you as Store Manager:

  • An indefinite contract;
  • The possibility of an 8% monthly bonus for reaching store targets;
  • 28 days holiday entitlement, 30 days after one year of service, and 33 days after two years (based on full time employment);
  • Regular team events;
  • Unlimited access to our internal learning portal;
  • We care about you; hence we provide you with discounts for gym sessions and unlimited, free access to an online-psychologist through ClassPass and OpenUp ;
  • (Continue to) expand your eyewear collection – up to two free pairs of opticals or sunglasses per year and a 20% discount for friends and family;
