This is a 2-year contract role attached to a trade union. The contract is subject to extension on a yearly basis. Location: East.
This is a pivotal role in engaging the organisation’s membership base and partners. This function is responsible for organising events, meetings and conferences, to attract new members, driving engagement with key decision-makers, partners and organisations.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree
- Relevant experience in planning meetings, incentives, conventions, conferences and/or special events.
- Experience in managing outside vendors, sourcing and negotiating contract services.
- Highly motivated, results-driven, and resilient with the ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively within a team structure.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Work Days: Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm
