About Us: As a lift engineer at ACE Lifts you will have the opportunity to pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role. We have developed clear and concise training and development plans, including training on all internal software and hardware for all staff. This role will suit a lift engineer who is genuinely ambitious and wants a challenging and interesting job as you will be able to make a real difference.
Responsibilities and Essential Requirements:
- Carry out various lift repairs including but not limited to ropes changes, hydraulic upgrades, machine changes, lighting upgrades etc.
- Some travel will be required.
- Keep the office up to date with information/data necessary to fulfil role.
- Carry out customer site visits as directed and in accordance with the workload.
Essential Requirements:
- At least 4 years’ time-served within the lift industry.
- Desire to engage with client, to improve customer experience and build trust.
- Keen knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
- NVQ level 3 Lift Servicing & Repair, LEIA modules or equivalent desirable/working towards.
- Working knowledge of current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations would also be desirable.
