Multi‑skilled Handymen and Handywomen – Ace Handyman Services – Hartford‑New London Counties needs your expertise! We are one of Connecticut's top‑rated handyman, repair, and remodeling companies. Since 2021, we have provided homes and businesses throughout Connecticut with quality craftsmanship for all of their repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects – both large and small – inside and outside. We are currently seeking highly motivated professional craftsmen and craftswomen with skills in multiple trades. We find and schedule the jobs for you, and you provide the quality craftsmanship and customer service that our clients have come to expect from us. You will work out of your home on a part‑time basis, using your own truck or van to travel to job sites in Hartford and New London Counties, surrounding counties, nearby towns and cities. Job Requirements
We are looking for Handymen/Craftsmen and Craftswomen with a strong work ethic, a professional, well‑groomed appearance and demeanor and a good overall knowledge of all trades – from carpentry, tiling, painting, and drywalling to light plumbing and electrical. You must also display excellent customer service skills, including solid communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to interact in a positive way with a wide variety of clients, fellow employees, management, and office personnel.
Qualifications
- Successful prior track record as a Handyman/Craftswoman/Craftsman.
- Ability to perform minor carpentry, minor electrical, and minor plumbing without supervision.
- Own standard set of tools to perform all of the above trades.
- Own serviceable work truck or van.
- Current and valid driver’s license.
- Residence within 25 miles of our large geographic service area.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong documentation and invoicing skills.
- Recognizes and corrects issues; not a complainer.
- Professional, well‑groomed appearance and demeanor.
- Reliable attendance and performance.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
Compensation
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour.
