This varied role primarily focuses on purchasing administration while also providing administrative support across the wider team. The successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of tasks, offering an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within the company.
Key Duties
- Processing internal and external purchase orders and maintaining accurate, up-to-date internal order tracking databases
- Daily management of multiple shared mailboxes
- Liaising with suppliers, Project Managers, and the Goods In department regarding order queries, deliveries, and updates
- Managing international deliveries, working closely with suppliers, couriers, and customs agents to ensure smooth delivery processes and accurate, compliant customs records
- Handling incoming calls, emails, and enquiries, responding promptly and professionally
- Setting up and amending new and existing job records
- Creating RAMS and Operation & Maintenance manuals for projects
- Providing flexible administrative support across the team and assisting with projects and wider business operations when required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A minimum of 2 years previous administration experience (essential)
- Previous experience using Microsoft Excel and Outlook on a daily basis
- Strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail
- A proactive approach and willingness to support other team members
- A confident and professional telephone manner
- The ability to manage changing priorities and a busy workload effectively
- Previous customs experience is preferred but not essential
Due to the location and limited public transport links to the village, a full driving licence and access to your own transport are essential for this role. This is a full time role, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm, however, slight variations to these hours will be considered for the right person.
