Ace Cabs is recruiting Taxi Operators / Dispatch Operators to support our growing taxi operation in Stamford and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for organised, calm and customer-focused individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Taxi operators play a vital role in keeping our service running smoothly by managing bookings, dispatching drivers and supporting customers throughout their journey.
The Role
- Answering incoming calls and taking customer bookings
- Dispatching jobs to drivers using our computerised system
- Monitoring vehicle availability and journey progress
- Providing clear, polite, and professional customer service
- Handling general enquiries and supporting daily operations
Working Patterns
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Shifts may include evenings or weekends
- Based at our Stamford office
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confidence using computers and booking systems
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Previous operator or call-handling experience is helpful but not essential
