The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Client Manager to join our leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building client relationships, providing proactive tax and business advice, leading teams, and taking ownership of their work. You will work directly alongside the Directors and Operations Manager, managing a portfolio of SME clients while helping drive operational improvements, team development, and practice growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of SME, sole trader, partnership, and limited company clients
  • Provide proactive accounting, taxation, and business advisory services
  • Review statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, and tax returns
  • Advise clients on Corporation Tax, Income Tax, VAT, Capital Gains Tax, CIS, dividend planning, and business structures
  • Support clients with budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, and profitability improvement
  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members
  • Review and manage work prepared by our offshore team
  • Support workflow management, process improvements, and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Help drive the continued growth and success of the practice

About You

  • ACA / ACCA qualified or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
  • Experience managing a client portfolio independently
  • Excellent technical knowledge across accounts, personal tax, corporation tax, and VAT
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Commercially minded with a proactive and solutions‑focused approach
  • Passionate about helping clients and team members succeed
