We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected specialist education provider supporting autistic children and young people with complex communication needs. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop a Speech & Language Therapy service within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment where therapy is embedded throughout the educational experience.

The Role
- Lead and develop the Speech & Language Therapy service.
- Deliver specialist assessments and evidence-based interventions.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to therapists and assistants.
- Contribute to EHCPs, annual reviews and multidisciplinary planning.
- Support service development and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with education staff, families and external professionals.
- Promote communication-friendly learning environments across the school.
The Ideal Candidate
- Degree or MSc in Speech & Language Therapy.
- HCPC Registered.
- Experience working with autistic children and young people.
- Previous experience within specialist education, SEND or paediatric services.
- Experience of clinical supervision, mentoring or leadership responsibilities.
- Passion for inclusive practice and improving outcomes for children and young people.
Desirable
- RCSLT Membership.
- Knowledge of AAC and specialist communication approaches.
- Experience supporting service development or quality improvement initiatives.
