We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Health & Social Care Lecturer to join a forward-thinking Higher Education Centre based in the heart of Canary Wharf. You'll be teaching on a brand-new, state-of-the-art campus, delivering high-quality higher education programmes to a diverse student body.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging teaching, learning and assessment across Health & Social Care HE programmes, supporting students to achieve academic success and strong employability outcomes.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, maintain academic standards, and help create an inclusive, student-centred learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality HE teaching and assessment in Health & Social Care.
  • Provide academic tutoring, guidance and timely feedback.
  • Support course and module development and quality enhancement.
  • Use VLEs (e.g. Blackboard), MS Teams and digital learning tools effectively.
  • Promote inclusive practice, student engagement and progression.

About You

  • Master's degree (or higher) in Health & Social Care or a related discipline.
  • Experience teaching Health & Social Care at Higher Education level.
  • Strong knowledge of assessment, feedback and HE quality standards.
  • Teaching qualification (PGCHE, MA HE Practice, FHEA) desirable.
  • Passion for widening participation and student success.
