The Role
As Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, adapting teaching to meet the individual needs of learners within a nurturing and supportive environment. Working alongside experienced pastoral and inclusion teams, you will play a key role in promoting academic achievement, confidence and positive behaviour.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Differentiating learning to meet individual pupil needs.
- Create a safe, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
- Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews where appropriate.
- Support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, pastoral teams and external professionals.
- Promote high expectations, resilience and positive learning behaviours.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Has experience teaching Science within Secondary Education.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Is passionate about inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners.
- Can build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
- Is resilient, adaptable and committed to improving outcomes for every learner.
