As the official UK distributor for Verlinde cranes and hoists, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and technical expertise.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an ambitious Technical Sales Manager to help expand our customer base and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for developing new business opportunities while managing and growing existing customer accounts.
Responsibilities include:
- Winning new crane maintenance and LOLER inspection contracts.
- Selling new overhead cranes, hoists, jib cranes and lifting equipment.
- Carrying out customer site visits and surveys.
- Preparing quotations and technical proposals.
- Building long-term relationships with engineering and maintenance managers.
- Working closely with our engineering team to deliver the best solutions.
- Achieving agreed sales targets.
What We’re Looking For
- Technical sales experience within engineering or industrial sectors.
- Experience in overhead cranes or lifting equipment is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
