Accuflex is partnering with a scale up technology company to recruit an ambitious and commercially focused NQ Legal Counsel. This is an exceptional opportunity for a newly qualified lawyer who wants to build a long-term in‑house career within a collaborative, forward‑thinking environment. Working closely with a supportive legal team, you will gain exposure to a wide breadth of commercial, SaaS, ESG and emerging regulatory matters while helping shape a growing legal function.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate core commercial contracts, including NDAs, supplier agreements, SaaS terms and procurement documentation.
- Support supplier onboarding and renewal cycles, ensuring alignment with risk, commercial expectations and operational needs.
- Contribute to ESG initiatives and help monitor new and evolving regulatory developments, including DORA.
- Provide commercially oriented advice across the business in a pragmatic, solution‑focused manner.
- Assist in developing and refining legal processes, templates and operational efficiencies within the Legal Team.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Legal, People, Product and senior leadership teams.
Candidate Profile
- NQ Solicitor (England & Wales) — applications welcomed from those qualifying shortly.
- In‑house experience is essential (minimum 6 months in a tech/SaaS or commercial environment).
- Strong grounding in commercial contracts, especially NDAs and supplier agreements, with exposure to supplier onboarding or renewals.
- A strong commercial mindset; able to balance legal risk with business objectives.
- Excellent communication skills, able to adapt to varied personalities and build internal relationships.
- Collaborative, coachable and respectful — someone who values guidance, alignment and working as part of a tightly connected team.
