Healthcare systems are struggling; our solution is communication. We have a bold vision: everyone involved in a patient's care - including the patient - should be able to communicate easily with each other. And we believe every NHS staff member should be using our software to make that happen.
Your role will be mission‑critical and you will be central to shaping the core communication infrastructure of the NHS. You'll directly enable faster, safer, and more accessible patient care. Specifically, you will empower our product squads to make data‑driven decisions by measuring the success of product releases, identifying new opportunities through deep‑dive analysis, and ensuring we prioritise the most valuable improvements for our users.
To give a flavour of what you might be working on, right now we are focused on:
- Implementing our AI Scribe across GP practices, hospitals, and other care settings, and ensuring every patient leaves an appointment with a clearly documented summary.
- Translating our expertise from implementing total triage in GP practices to improve how hospital specialist services deliver care.
- Powering communication for Integrated Neighbourhood Teams, a new type of service bringing together staff from different organisations that is pivotal to the government’s 10-year plan.
The Unique Challenges You’ll Solve
- Bridging Data and Strategy: Collaborating with product managers to set the metrics and strategic drivers for your product pod and ensuring we track the impact of every change to measure success. You don’t just measure impact; you help decide what we build through asking and answering the questions that can lead to the biggest impact.
- Optimising the User Journey: Being an expert in our product and our users, and using this expertise to proactively conduct in‑depth analysis to identify trends and patterns that support decision‑making. You identify trends before they become problems and generate the "Why" behind the "What."
- Driving Scientific Improvement: Leading the implementation of A/B tests and ensuring the team maintains a high bar for statistical integrity and "learning" from every experiment, while allowing us to iterate quickly even when presented with constraints.
What We’re Looking For
We need someone who embodies our Principles and thrives on significant challenges. We’re seeking the core skills below, coupled with a mindset ready for real impact.
- Analytical Background: Experience working in a product‑focused analytics function where you’ve produced complex insights and pattern analysis with minimal supervision. You have a track record of driving the "why" behind the data and ensuring every piece of analysis has a clear link to impact.
- Experimentation Skills: Hands‑on experience designing, running, and analysing A/B testing. You are proficient in statistical analysis and have the ability to adjust techniques based on goals and constraints.
- Cross‑functional Collaboration: You have experience working as a key member of a team with product managers, engineers, and designers. You not only produce analysis that supports the decisions needed by the team, you are also a strategic partner who ensures the team is always asking the right questions to maximise impact.
- Technical Toolkit: You are an expert in SQL, capable of designing and optimising complex queries to support in‑depth analysis. You have experience using Python or R for advanced analysis and statistical modelling, and you take pride in becoming an expert in the data and mentoring others on coding best practices.
- Product Analytics Tools: Experience using Mixpanel or Amplitude to go beyond simple reporting to identify deeper trends and patterns, while ensuring self‑service data remains a "source of truth" through implementing high‑quality event governance.
- Storytelling & Visualisation: Experience in communicating complex findings to cross‑functional leadership. You build persuasive, data‑driven arguments that influence high‑level decision‑making and resolve conflicting viewpoints across the squad/pod.
