About the role:
The Symfony Developer with DevOps will be a pivotal technical authority in the team providing guidance and inspiration to other team members as it looks to develop and enhance the ongoing software platform. You will also work on exciting new projects as they arise.
You will be responsible for:
- Symfony
- PHP
- Commercial DevOps experience
- Creating efficient, robust and stable code
- Solving performance problems and architectural challenges
- Using initiative to solve complex problems
- Considerable knowledge of modern web technologies (including PHP, Symfony, REST API’s, jQuery)
- Be able to recommend new tech solutions to the team as appropriate
- Identifying opportunities to improve existing code
- Work within an Agile framework
The role is fully remote, with flexibility around our core Monday to Friday work hours with no weekends. Opportunities to collaborate will be available during periodical workshops and social gatherings.
What the Symfony Developer with DevOps will bring:
You’ll be someone who has:
- Extensive and demonstrable experience using up to date PHP versions with the Symfony framework
- API creation within Symfony
- Expert understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and experience with common branching strategies such as GitFlow and Trunk-based development
- SQL experience essential
This is a fully remote, Full-Time permanent position. Packages include salary to c£60,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits.
