Salary: £12.71 per hour + Benefits
Contract: 37.5 hours per week, Fixed term until end June 2026 with possible extension.
Shift pattern: Monday-Wednesday 07:00-17:00, Thursday 07:00-16:30.

We specialise in the production of lateral flow devices. To grow our dynamic team, we are seeking 3 motivated Production Operators to assist in the assembly, kitting, and equipment operation of our high-quality medical tests.
The role primarily includes paperwork completion, manual kitting processes and working on the production line to support manufacturing activities.
Production Assistant - Job Purpose:
To perform all tasks associated within Secondary Production area that supports delivery of the department plan to meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly of lateral flow devices and kitting of the finished product following standard operating procedures (SOPs) with precision and attention to detail.
- Conduct manual kitting process to prepare components and materials for assembly, ensuring accuracy and completeness of kits.
- Operate manufacturing equipment in adherence to Equipment Operating Procedures (EOPs) to support production activities efficiently and safely.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and maintain quality standards in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency in assembly, kitting, and equipment operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Complete and maintain accurate production documentation, including Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) and associated paperwork, ensuring right-first-time completion in alignment with company procedures, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Production Assistant - Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in production assembly, kitting, and equipment operations, preferably in a regulated manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in manual kitting process, including component selection, preparation, and organisation for assembly.
- Ability in operating manufacturing equipment and machinery in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively to targets and deadlines while upholding quality standards and attention to detail.
- Good team player with good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and a drive for operational excellence in manufacturing processes.
