Want to be part of something bigger? If you’re ambitious and love the new, then we’re just for you. We service more than 70% of the top 100 global manufacturers. We’re on a mission to be the most loved component buying experience that’s ever existed. Want to join our mission?
Who Are Accu? We’re the new kind of component company. We’re here for the engineers, the innovators, the designers and the pioneers who are driving change. We blend cutting-edge technology with passionate people to deliver an award-winning experience to customers all over the globe. Building Tomorrow. Together.
Are you an organisational powerhouse with a flair for creating unforgettable experiences? Do you want to work for a company that has thrown out the stiff corporate playbook? We are looking for a dynamic Events Executive to help us bring the Accu brand to life - whether that’s on the trade show floor, at our home ground (the newly named Accu Stadium), or through internal events that celebrate our incredible team.
The Role
As our Events Executive, you won’t just be booking venues; you will be the architect of our physical brand presence. You will play a pivotal role in how customers, partners and employees experience Accu. This is a diverse role where no two days are the same. One week you might be coordinating a high-tech exhibition stand for a major engineering expo; the next, you could be managing hospitality at a Huddersfield Town match or organising a "level-up" social for our team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Trade Show Management: Lead the planning and execution of our presence at key engineering and manufacturing trade shows (e.g., Smart Manufacturing Week '26, SMRRF '26, and Made in Yorkshire Expo). You will handle everything from stand design and logistics to on-site management and lead capture strategy.
- Activate the Accu Stadium: Act as the key liaison for our stadium partnership. You will organise client hospitality days, networking events and community initiatives at the Accu Stadium to maximize our sponsorship value.
- Brand Guardianship: Ensure every event - big or small - visually and tonally represents the Accu brand.
- Logistics & Budgeting: Manage event budgets, negotiate with suppliers and handle the nitty-gritty logistics (i.e. travel, accommodation, shipping) to ensure everything runs like clockwork.
- ROI Analysis: Track the success of our events. We love data; you’ll report on leads generated, attendee engagement and follow-up campaigns to help us improve every event we do.
- Internal Culture Events: Support our “People Team” to organise legendary social events, team-building days and "Accu Academy" workshops that reinforce our culture of fun and innovation.
About You
You are detail‑obsessed but people-focused. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment and don't panic when plans change (because in events, they always do).
Experience: 2+ years of experience in event planning, field marketing, or a similar coordination role.
Organisational Skills: You are a natural planner who can spin multiple plates without dropping any. Spreadsheets and timelines are your best friends.
Communication: You have excellent interpersonal skills and can build relationships with everyone from stadium managers to engineering directors.
Creativity: You have an eye for design and detail - you know what makes a trade stand look "world-class" versus "average."
Driver: A full UK driving license is required for travel to events and exhibitions.
The "Accu Fit": You are ambitious, positive, and ready to get stuck in. We value people who are not afraid to fail fast and learn faster.
The Team And What We Offer
- 4-day work week (34 hours per week).
- Competitive salary (ÂŁ24,080 - ÂŁ26,488 depending on experience) with a transparent pay structure.
- Opportunity for progression at a high‑growth company.
- Remote and flexible working (75% office‑based during probationary period).
- 6 weeks paid annual leave. Earn up to 7 weeks through our length‑of‑service bonus.
- 3 months paid maternity leave & 1 month paid paternity leave.
- Pension scheme.
- Accu Academy – a fund to grow our employees' skills.
- Bean to cup coffee, soft drinks and fresh fruit in the office.
- Sports & Social activities: escape rooms, go‑karting, food, drink and much more.
