Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours each week with a starting time of 08:00 Monday to Friday, with a finish time of 16:45 Monday to Thursday, and on a Friday, a finish time of 12:30. You will be entitled to a 30-minute unpaid lunch break Monday to Thursday.
Responsibilities:
- Produce estimates, technical and manufacturing proposals to support quotes and new business development.
- Evaluate customer data including CAD models, drawings, specifications and conditions of supply.
- Liaise with Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain teams to gather and combine inputs for estimates.
- Ensure engineering and quality requirements for products are fully understood.
- Develop and maintain a close and collaborative relationship with all departments.
- Work closely with Account Managers and others in the Commercial team to communicate with customers, seeking clarification where necessary and managing expectations for quote submission.
- Identify raw material, bought-out items and sub-contract process requirements, including identification of quality approval requirements.
- Support NPI Gated Process meetings, including the quote review.
- Follow relevant business processes.
- Comply with all company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements.
