We are recruting for a Commercial Manager to join our Business Development Team, to support us as we continue to grow and develop the business.

Key role responsibilities:
- Alongside the Engineering & Product Quality Manager, provide leadership, support development, and manage capacity of cross functional team.
- Alongside the Demand Manager, closely monitor the orderbook and be able to articulate trends and drivers
- Define and implement pricing strategies on new and existing product
- Investigate performance of existing products to verify profitability, creating an action plan to address gaps.
- Lead negotiations for new contracts and contract renewals
- Manage RFQ process including Bid/No-Bid, customer communication, quote delivery and conversion whilst ensuring “buy in” from all internal departments.
- Identify opportunities and lead efforts to win new business with existing or new customers
- Sales and marketing activities to support business growth initiatives
- Produce sales plans in support of short, medium and long term planning drawing information from multiple sources of reference
- Support the companies legal obligations in relation to Export Control, Security Vetting and keep up to date with current and developing export/import regulation for military, dual use product, services & technology.
- Management of the company export security policy, operating procedures, export licensing controls, documentation & compliance including EAR & ITAR. Point of contact for related external audits with zero major NCR’s being raised.
