We have a vacancy within our Manufacturing Department and are currently recruiting for the role of Manufacturing Support Administrator. We are looking for candidates who have relevant and proven experience seeking an opportunity to develop their skills and join a growing Organisation.
Shift Pattern: 39 hours per week working the Day Shift; 07.30 to 16.30 Monday to Thursday, and Friday 07.30 to 12.30 with designated breaks.
Responsibilities specific to the role:
- Primary point of contact for ownership of accident investigations with technical support from the manufacturing team leader of the area
- Primary point of contact for ownership of 4D/8D investigations with technical support from the manufacturing team leader of the area
- Govern completion of verification audits
- Supporting in HR routines, including but not limited to investigatory meetings and sickness absence reviews
- Work with the engineering manager and operational team leaders in managing the apprentice training plans
- Support walk-the-floor
- Support the manufacturing and demand functions in day to day activities
- Support in delivery of overdue actions raised in the daily operations meeting
- Support in purchasing related administration
- Support the manufacturing manager in expediting activities of urgent WIP and/or aged WIP
- Supporting in management of time and attendance
- Support in administration of the capability planner
- Support in other administrative tasks that help improve the output of the broader manufacturing team
Person Specification:
- 1/2 years’ experience in an Aerospace Industry/ Engineering/ Manufacturing role is desirable
- Must become familiar with quality & manufacturing standards and maintain and achieve specified targets and objectives in line with business requirements
- Takes full ownership of their area of responsibility
- Disciplined and self-motivated
- Has strong teamwork and a supportive mentality
