We have a vacancy within our Engineering department and are currently recruiting for a Project Manager. We are looking for candidates who have relevant and proven experience seeking an opportunity to develop their skills and join a growing organisation.
Shift Pattern: 39 hours each week, 07:30 - 16:30 Monday to Friday, and 07:30 - 12:30 on a Friday, with designated breaks.
Location: Accrofab Alcester, B49 6EH
Project Management: Accountable for leading projects that are key to the continued operational development of the facility to deliver tangible results. This role will be influential in driving many key improvement strands into the business such as operational improvement processes, upgrade to existing equipment, new equipment delivery & commissioning, OpEx cost reduction and quality improvements.
You will be expected to effectively define the scope of each project and recognise the project deliverable KPIs to achieve a successful outcome. Obtaining stakeholder buy-in, managing multiple issues at any time whilst maintaining good momentum and strongly implementing the correct level of project governance required.
The role will require you to clearly understand the importance of continual risk assessment & risk management whilst guiding your stakeholders to help manage those risks identified. You will be competent in creating execution plans and demonstrate the ability to identify critical paths and set the milestones in priority order.
You will be the expert in the project and therefore the point of reference. Attending the relevant operations meetings in order to promote task awareness and offer support is key for clear communication. The ability to navigate your way through multiple blockers at any time to stay on track will be key in this challenging role.

Person Specification:
- Previous experience of working to Aerospace standards (desirable not essential)
- Preferably 2-5 years experience in a similar role.
- Has a keen eye for detail
- Demonstrates good teamwork, but should also be capable of working individually
- Is self-driven with a positive outlook
- Has good communication skills
Technical Competence:
- Demonstrates strong technical ability to add value to the subject matter
- Able to offer alternative technical solutions without compromising delivery of the project/s
- Demonstrates sound technical knowledge across multiple manufacturing processes
- Able to anticipate technical issues whilst scoping out the project and identifying risks
