What You’ll Be Doing

  • Performing releases and handling issues related to deployments.
  • Supporting customers directly by troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges.
  • Contributing to product and design decisions to ensure we build a good product.

Accredible Labs is a fast-paced, experimental environment where we build, test, learn, and iterate quickly. You’ll collaborate closely with a high-energy team focused on delivering meaningful innovation. Expect autonomy, ownership, and regular opportunities to shape not only products, but also the processes behind how we build them. You’ll be trusted to move quickly, make decisions, and continuously improve both the work and the outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

  • AI-Assisted Development: You know when speed matters most and when traditional approaches are better.
  • Rails/Ruby or Java or Python / Django (or similar): Professional experience with Rails or comparable back-end frameworks, ideally in SaaS.
  • Backend Expertise: At least 3 years of backend development experience, including relational databases.
  • Build & Deploy: Familiarity with iterative release strategies like feature flags, blue/green deployments, and dark launches.
  • Solution Design: Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Fast Learner: You absorb new information quickly and apply best practices effectively.
  • Independent Problem Solver: You tackle complex technical challenges and know when to ask for help.
  • Attention to Detail: You don’t let critical details slip through the cracks.

  • Results Oriented: You know what you’re aiming for and measure progress.
  • Proactive: You take initiative and lead with “I intend to…”
  • Dependable: You follow through responsibly and communicate clearly when priorities shift.
  • Prioritizer: You focus on high-leverage work that drives meaningful impact.
  • Bias to Action: You move forward through iteration and small steps.
  • Humble in Feedback: You welcome debate and data-driven decision-making.
  • Supportive Teammate: You understand we win or lose together.
  • Ambitious Builder: You aim high and look for ways to improve everything around you.
  • Great Communicator: You’re succinct, thoughtful, and create space for others.

How to prepare for a job interview at Accredible

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned.
