We are seeking a highly capable and solutions-oriented Salesforce & Marketing Technology Specialist to lead the customisation, integration, and optimisation of our Salesforce platform across multiple brands. This is a hands-on role requiring deep technical expertise in Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, and website integration paired with strong data management capabilities and the broader IT proficiency to execute end-to-end solutions.

This is a critical systems enabler role for a fast-scaling business. Previous hires have lacked the hybrid skill set required — someone technical enough to build and fix, but commercial enough to understand how CRM and marketing automation should support sales, compliance, and customer engagement. You will become the go-to technical lead bridging IT, marketing, sales, and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Salesforce Customisation & Admin
    • Build, configure, and maintain objects, fields, flows, permissions, and automation.
    • Implement logic and triggers to enhance CRM usability for our sales and underwriting teams.
    • Manage Salesforce user access, licences, and best practices for data hygiene.
  • Website & System Integration
    • Create and maintain API connections between Salesforce and our websites, lead capture forms, payment systems, and third-party tools.
    • Support embedded forms, quote journeys, and customer portals linked to Salesforce.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud
    • Design and deploy email journeys, customer segmentation strategies, and lead scoring.
    • Ensure full utilisation of Marketing Cloud for drip campaigns, campaign analytics, and ROI tracking.
  • Data Management & Reporting
    • Oversee the import/export, mapping, cleansing, and visualisation of complex data sets.
    • Build dashboards and reports for internal departments, ensuring single-source-of-truth data consistency across platforms.
  • IT & Business Support
    • Serve as the internal IT lead for anything related to Salesforce and connected systems.
    • Work with third-party providers where necessary to extend technical solutions.
You’ll Need to Demonstrate
  • Proven experience customising Salesforce (Sales Cloud essential; Marketing Cloud preferred).
  • Fluency in Apex, Flow Builder, SOQL, and API integrations.
  • Strong grasp of data modelling, relational databases, and campaign tracking logic.
  • Ability to connect website forms (e.g. WordPress, Webflow, React front-ends) to Salesforce.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (for front-end integration tweaks).
  • A pragmatic and self-managing mindset — capable of delivering without hand-holding.
  • Experience supporting marketing and sales teams in a fast-moving, B2B environment.
Desirable But Not Essential
  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Platform App Builder).
  • Experience with tools like Zapier, HubSpot, Google Tag Manager, or Pardot.
  • Understanding of FCA compliance or experience in financial/professional services.
What You’ll Get

A high-trust, high-impact environment where your technical expertise will be valued. Freedom to propose and implement better systems — not just maintain what's already there. Direct access to leadership and a chance to shape scalable infrastructure.
