- We are seeking an experienced
Junior Project Manager to join a growing Programme Management team within the Aerospace and Defence Sector.
The successful candidate will lead the delivery of complex engineering projects, managing scope, schedule, budgets, risks, customer relationships, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver projects through the full lifecycle from bid stage to completion.
- Manage project plans, budgets, risks, resources, and contractual milestones.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, suppliers, and customers.
- Lead change management, problem resolution, and continuous improvement activities.
- Provide leadership and support to Project Managers and junior team members.
Requirements
- Demonstrable Project Management experience.
- Thorough understanding of project management techniques and methods, including risk analysis and management, scheduling and resource work allocation.
- Good knowledge of data analysis, reporting and budgeting.
- Working knowledge of MS office and Project management software (e. g. MS Project etc.)
- Experience of working within a defined budget, and ability to develop budget management skills.
- Basic understanding of contract management and delivery.
