At AccountsIQ, part of the AIQ Group, we’re on a mission to deeply understand our customers and deliver technology that enriches their lives. Alongside ExpenseIn, a leading expense management platform within the group, we provide smart, feature-rich financial management software designed for ambitious businesses that have outgrown basic starter systems or seek a simpler, more affordable alternative to complex, costly ERP solutions. Our cloud-based accounting software transforms the finance function, making it easier for multi-entity businesses to capture, process, and report their financial data with ease and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Know our best fit customers better than anyone. Deepen our understanding of who we serve best, our core segments and the people involved in buying and using our products. Feed that directly into product decisions, and make sure messaging and launches are built around it.
  • Reset competitive intelligence. Build a clear view of the landscape that helps teams win against the systems customers are outgrowing and the alternatives they're weighing up.
  • Develop the complete value proposition. Work with product and service leads so today's product, what's coming and the service experience (onboarding, implementation and customer success) all deliver on our positioning.
  • Shape how customers see what we offer. Help evolve how our products and services are structured, named and packaged, in step with the roadmap, so the offer is easy to understand, shows where it's heading and gives every launch an obvious place to fit.
  • Connect product value to commercial results. Understand how each release adds value for customers, and help us capture it in new business, expansion and retention. Measure the impact of launches and enablement on pipeline, win rates and adoption.
  • Lead the go-to-market rhythm. Run how product, marketing and customer-facing teams across our product family prepare for and deliver launches, so the right work happens at the right time and everyone knows where things stand.
  • Be the voice of our product. Speak at customer roadshows, events and webinars, and give our point of view on market shifts, such as what AI means for finance leaders in the UK and Ireland.
  • Strengthen our core, open up what's next. Make our proven go-to-market motion sharper while building new ones for the new segments our product roadmap opens up.
  • Enable the whole business. Make sure every team, from sales and customer success to support and product, understands our customers, segments, competitors and positioning well enough to move their own work forward at pace.
  • Turn positioning into pipeline. Work hand in hand with demand generation on campaign messaging, ABM plays, paid copy and outbound sequences.
  • Build a go-to-market system that stays current. Use AI and automation to keep customer and market insight flowing in, and keep messaging, battle cards, proof and customer stories up to date and easy to find.

Requirements:

  • Typically six or more years in B2B SaaS product marketing, including launches for a product bought through a considered, sales-led process.
  • Experience being part of building or scaling a product marketing function, ideally in a scale-up.
  • Scale-up instincts. You know what breaks as a business outgrows its earlier stage habits, and how to fix it.
  • Hands-on use of AI to run product marketing better: synthesising research, keeping content current, and building workflows that save the team time, with the judgement to know when the output is right.
  • Ownership of positioning and messaging, seen through to how the business sells, onboards and supports customers.
  • A track record of running go-to-market across product, sales and customer success, leading through influence rather than authority.
  • Customer understanding you've built first-hand: interviews, win/loss, segmentation and personas, and evidence it changed what a product team built.
  • Based in the UK or Ireland, with regular time in our London and Dublin offices.

Desirable:

  • Experience in finance, accounting or fintech software, especially selling to finance leaders.
  • Marketing a multi-product suite, or bringing products and teams together.
  • Working with an offer where experience (implementation, onboarding, customer success) is part of the value.

Conditions:

  • 28 days annual leave + bank holidays + your birthday off
  • Working from abroad - up to 6 weeks per calendar year
  • Private Health Insurance
  • 5% Pension contribution
  • Life Assurance - 4 x Salary Income Benefit
  • Wellbeing initiatives
