Key Responsibilities for the Job:

  • Review, verify, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Manage the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring invoices are processed and payments are made on time
  • Respond to vendor inquiries, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve discrepancies
  • Process and reconcile employee expense reimbursements
  • Monitor accounts payable obligations and support cash flow planning
  • Assist with the monthly accounting cycle, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliations
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Provide accounts receivable support as needed
  • Other related duties and projects as assigned

Experience & Attributes for Success:

  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1 - 3 years of accounts payable or accounting support experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy coupled with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
