Finance Trustee (Trustee Board) @ Nottingham, UK charity - Voluntary role. Our partner is a leading contemporary arts organisation, known for its ambitious exhibitions, inclusive learning programmes and strong engagement with local and international communities.
They are looking for a senior finance professional to join the Board as Finance Trustee and Chair the Finance & Audit Committee. The role involves providing strategic oversight of financial planning, supporting an evolving income-generation strategy, advising on risk, audit and financial controls, and working with the leadership team to ensure long-term financial sustainability.
The ideal candidate will bring senior-level finance experience, strong strategic and analytical skills, and the ability to support an organisation navigating growth and change. An interest in contemporary culture and a commitment to values of openness, inclusion and creativity are also important.
Board meetings take place in Nottingham with hybrid attendance options, and committee meetings are held several times per year. The expected commitment is around 1-2 days per month, including preparation, meetings and occasional engagement with the leadership team.
