Accountancy Recruit is partnering with a hardware/software developer, and supplier to the Care and Healthcare sectors, in the recruitment of an Interim Finance Manager for an initial 3-month contract, to start as soon as possible, based in Bournemouth. There is the possibility that this contract could become a permanent role.This is a sole charge role, responsible for the company’s accounting function and reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will maintain the day-to-day transactions and financial management, month end closure and reporting.This is a commercial role with a key focus on streamlining and documenting the financial processes since a recent system change. Responsibilities: Day to day management of the purchase and sales ledgers Account reconciliations and dealing with queries Credit control; chasing outstanding payments, preparing aged debtors’ reports and allocation of payments to accounts Bank reconciliations Calculation of VAT returns Preparing month end journals; review and summarise financial statements, KPIs, variance analysis, cash flow analysis, general ledger balances, AR and AP aging reports Preparing month end stock reports and analysis Month end P&L reports Weekly cashflow forecasting Reporting on financial performance against previous periods Assisting with evaluating and tracking risk and opportunities
