Accountancy Recruit is partnering a client in the beautiful Scottish Highlands to appoint a Finance Manager (Accounts Manager).  This role would suit a Senior Management Accountant, Financial Controller or Finance Manager with experience of leading the month end process.  Our client operates a centralised finance function for 8 entities in the hospitality sector. Reporting in to the Director of the Finance, the Accounts Manager will have the following responsibilities: Perform balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries. Responsible for preparation of P&L. Preparation of monthly management accounts to required deadlines and standard and ad hoc reporting as required. Review output from 2 finance assistants. Maintenance of fixed asset registers. Preparation and submission of VAT Returns. Completion of year end routines and documents for submission to the auditors. Liaising with Auditors.  Maintenance of records in accordance with statutory requirements. Ensuring compliance with internal procedures. In order to be successful in this role the Finance Manager will have the following experience:  Experience of working in a similar role.
