The Opportunity \ N As Senior Accountant / Client Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients across a variety of sectors. \ N You will act as a trustedadviser, providing technical expertise and proactive guidance whilst ensuring exceptional levels of client service. Key Responsibilities\ N \n Managing a portfolio of business clients and acting as their primary point of contact \ N Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts \ N Reviewing corporation tax returns and related compliance work \ N Preparing and reviewing management accounts \ N Providing business advisory and strategic financial guidance \ N Supporting client meetings and presenting financial information clearly \ N Ensuring compliance with UK accounting and taxation regulations \ N Reviewing work completed by junior team members \ N Coaching, mentoring anddeveloping trainees and junior staff \ N Identifying opportunities to add value and expand services within the client portfolio \ N Supporting partners anddirectors with practice development initiatives \ N About You \n Tobe successful in this role, you will ideally possess: Essential Requirements\ N \n ACA or ACCA qualified \ N Minimum 4-7 years' UK accountancy practice experience \ N Strong experience managing a portfolio of clients within an accountancy practice environment \ N Proven experience preparing and reviewing statutory accounts \ N Good working knowledgeof corporation tax and personal tax compliance \ N Excellent client relationship management skills \ N Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities \ N Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively \ N Commercial awareness with a proactive problem-solving approach \ N Technical Skills\n Experience with one or more of the following would be advantageous: \ N \n Xero \n Sage \ N QuickBooks \n IRIS \ N Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level) \ N Cloud-based accountingsystems \ N Career Progression \ N This role offers genuineopportunities for further advancement, including: \ N \n Progression towards Senior Manager level \ N Increased responsibility for larger and more complex client portfolios \ N Exposure to advisory and business development projects \ N Ongoing professional development and technical training \ N Leadership and people management opportunities \ N Salary
