Our client, an established, forward thinking accountancy firm are seeking a Personal Tax Senior to join their growing tax team in Fareham, Hampshire.
You will be responsible for a mixed portfolio of tax clients, predominantly dealing with personal tax matters, with some trust work. Clients are from various industries and include sole traders, landlords, high-net-worth individuals, trusts and estates.
Key Duties:
- Preparation of personal tax returns and trust tax returns using CCH.
- Dealing with compliance matters.
- Working with advisors within the group with any client specific tax calculations and queries.
- Dealing with clients to discuss their tax and accountancy needs and ongoing client compliance work.
- Dealing with ad-hoc tax queries from clients and advisors within the business and produce relevant tax calculations.
You will ideally have at least 3-5 years' UK tax experience within practice, with a good working knowledge of personal tax. Trust tax knowledge would also be an advantage, although not essential as training would be given. You will also hold a professional qualification such as ATT and/or CTA, although study support may be offered if required.
