Job Description Our client, an independent, forward thinking firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking a Bookkeeper to join their expanding team in Chichester, West Sussex. The role will involve dealing with the bookkeeping, VAT, preparing management accounts, maintaining financial records and processing and reconciling client data, ensuring deadlines are met. Day to day bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients Data input, bank reconciliations and maintenance of bank feeds Must be proficient with bank feeds, Dext, Hubdocs etc. Preparation of Management Accounts You will ideally have at least 2-3 years UK bookkeeping experience in practice and hold a professional qualification such as AAT Level 4, or working towards this. A good working knowledge of Xero, Sage, Dext and Hubdocs would be an advantage, along with a good understanding of double entry bookkeeping and various VAT schemes including margin schemes and CIS.
