Accountancy Elite are very pleased to partner with a highly regarded practice in Stoke-on-Trent. Due to their excellent reputation and networking activities, they are now going through a period of expansion because of business growth and excellent client retention. The perfect candidate for this role would be a bright, ambitious, tech-savvy, very people-orientated person. They would ideally have completed AAT and potentially be studying their first few ACCA/ACA exams, have a minimum of 1 year practice experience and be IT literate.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
- Preparing the annual accounts of limited and non-limited company status clients
- Assisting with statutory audits
- Producing final draft accounts and tax computations for review
- Producing management accounts, cash flows and budgets
- Providing a full range of company secretarial services
- Organising your workload so you can prepare accounts and tax returns efficiently within time and budget constraints
- Checking-in clients records and notifying them of any deficiencies, whilst assisting the improvement of their bookkeeping systems
- Meeting with the client manager and agreeing the approach to accounts preparation for each client
- Assisting clients with their accounting software, including installation/training
- Attending training workshops.
Candidate Attributes
- Be newly AAT qualified and maybe studying the first few ACCA/ACA exams.
- Minimum of 1 year practice experience.
- Have experience of software packages such as Iris, Sage, Quickbooks, Xero etc would be highly advantageous.
Salary: £18,000 - £23,000 + Study Support dependant on experience and value added.
Pension: Auto enrollment.
Benefits: Benefits package including incentive scheme and discretionary bonus scheme.
Working hours: 9am-5:00pm (FLEXIBLE WORKING BETWEEN 8AM-6PM).
Holiday: 30 days including statutory.
