Accountancy Elite yet again have been instructed by a long term client of ours who are a well established accountancy based in Abingdon.
Our client is recruiting an accounts senior into their team with the long term view that they will take a role in the senior management of the practice in the short to medium term dependant on experience and skill set.
The successful candidate will ideally be nearly ACCA/ACA qualified or already qualified with 3-5 years good quality practice experience.
- Role Responsibilities
- Preparation of accounts, VAT returns and tax computations from client records, for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Assisting clients with their financial record keeping, which is increasingly moving to Cloud-based solutions.
- Preparation of corporation tax returns and personal tax returns.
- Company secretarial work.
- MTD knowledge and knowledge of implementation is an advantage.
- Training and mentoring junior members of the team.
- Candidate Requirements
- ACA / ACCA late stages of qualification or already qualified.
- Experience of preparing accounts and related business tax computations
- 3-5 years practice experience.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
- Full UK driving license.
