Accountancy Elite yet again have been instructed by a long term client of ours who are a well established accountancy based in Abingdon.

Our client is recruiting an accounts senior into their team with the long term view that they will take a role in the senior management of the practice in the short to medium term dependant on experience and skill set.

The successful candidate will ideally be nearly ACCA/ACA qualified or already qualified with 3-5 years good quality practice experience.

  • Role Responsibilities
  • Preparation of accounts, VAT returns and tax computations from client records, for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
  • Assisting clients with their financial record keeping, which is increasingly moving to Cloud-based solutions.
  • Preparation of corporation tax returns and personal tax returns.
  • Company secretarial work.
  • MTD knowledge and knowledge of implementation is an advantage.
  • Training and mentoring junior members of the team.
  • Candidate Requirements
  • ACA / ACCA late stages of qualification or already qualified.
  • Experience of preparing accounts and related business tax computations
  • 3-5 years practice experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills
  • Full UK driving license.
