Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join our financial planning team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Financial Advisers by preparing high-quality suitability reports, conducting technical research, and ensuring all advice is compliant and aligned with regulatory standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and compliant suitability reports based on adviser recommendations
- Conduct in-depth financial product and fund research
- Analyse client information including income, assets, pensions, investments, and protection needs
- Support advisers in the development of financial planning strategies
- Ensure all advice aligns with FCA regulations and internal compliance standards
- Liaise with advisers and administrators to gather and clarify client information
- Assist in preparing cashflow modelling and financial planning scenarios where required
- Maintain accurate and well‑organised client records
- Keep up to date with financial products, legislation, and market changes
Skills & Experience Required
- Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4)
- Previous experience in a Paraplanning or technical financial services role
- Strong understanding of financial planning products including pensions, investments, and protection
- Experience writing suitability reports
- Knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical and research skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with advisers
