Part-Time Accounts Receivable Credit Controller Are you looking for a fully remote role? We are seeking an experienced and proactive Accounts Receivable Credit Controller to join our finance team on a part-time basis (3 mornings a week). This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys building strong customer relationships while ensuring the timely collection of outstanding payments and maintaining accurate financial records. Working closely with the wider finance team, you will take ownership of the sales ledger, credit control activities, and customer account reconciliations, helping to improve cash flow and support the smooth running of the business. Key Responsibilities Managing the Accounts Receivable function and maintaining the sales ledger. Chasing outstanding debt via telephone and email in a professional and customer-focused manner. Allocating incoming payments and investigating any payment discrepancies Reconciling customer accounts and resolving queries promptly. Producing aged debtor reports and providing updates on outstanding balances. Setting up new customer accounts and maintaining accurate customer records. Building strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Assisting with month-end processes relating to Accounts Receivable. Supporting continuous improvements to credit control processes and procedures. Ensuring all records are maintained accurately within the finance system. Skills Experience Required Previous experience in a Credit Control and/or Accounts Receivable position. Strong reconciliation experience. Proven ability to manage and reduce aged debt. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Good attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively. Competent user of Microsoft Excel. Experience using Sage 200 would be highly advantageous. Personal Attributes Professional and confident communicator. Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
