Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced FP&A professional to join a growing business on an interim basis.
This is a hands on role requiring someone who can hit the ground running, provide immediate support to senior stakeholders and take ownership of financial planning, forecasting and analysis.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead FP&A activity across budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting
- Provide financial and commercial analysis to support business decisions
- Analyse actuals against budget, forecast and prior year, providing clear commentary on variances
- Build and maintain financial models and scenario analysis
- Support long-term financial planning and business growth initiatives
- Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to understand performance and identify opportunities
- Produce monthly reporting, management information and presentations for senior management
- Provide analysis around productivity, demand, KPIs and business performance
- Work on ad hoc analysis and what-if scenarios as required
- Support strategic projects and wider finance initiatives
- Translate complex financial information into clear, commercially focused insights
About you:
- Qualified Accountant β ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Strong, proven FP&A experience
- Previous experience operating at a senior level and partnering with senior stakeholders
- Highly analytical with strong commercial awareness
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Strong experience across budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Confident presenting financial information and insights to senior management
- Able to work independently and make an immediate impact
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
This role would suit an experienced FP&A Manager, Senior FP&A Analyst, Commercial Finance Manager or Finance Business Partner who is comfortable being hands-on and can provide immediate support during an interim period.
