Are you looking to work for a fast paced and hugely successful organisation within their sector? A household brand is seeking a new Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This role will be based in Borehamwood and is due to company growth. An exciting time to be joining such a business with many benefits attached to the role. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your skills and develop and learn new aspects of accounting.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Monthly P&L reviews
- Review and challenge of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Performing daily bank reconciliations
- Help lead the monthly financial close process
- Development of monthly management packs and internal KPI’s and MI
- Preparation of monthly VAT returns and responsible for and dealing with any HMRC correspondence
- Production of year-end audit pack and resolving any audit queries
- Production of annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts
- Helping with additional budgetary tasks
- Ad-hoc tasks/projects
