About the Role
We’re currently looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join a busy and supportive finance team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic business environment where no two days are the same!
You’ll be supporting day-to-day finance operations and playing a key role in ensuring smooth and accurate processing of financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing supplier invoices and managing the purchase ledger
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
- Preparing and processing payment runs
- Assisting with bank reconciliations and posting transactions
- Handling employee expense claims and credit card reconciliations
- Supporting month-end processes
- Ad hoc finance admin duties as required
About You
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role (essential)
- Confident with Excel and familiar with accounting software (Sage, Xero, or similar)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Able to hit the ground running and work independently with minimal supervision
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
