We are looking for a Global Financial Accountant to join an international organisation with operations across multiple regions. This role sits within the central finance team and works closely with senior finance leadership, supporting global reporting, month-end processes, and coordination across regional finance teams. The role is focused on improving processes, supporting reporting accuracy, and ensuring deadlines are met across the group. It is a coordination-heavy role, working across teams and time zones, rather than direct line management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support global month-end close and prepare consolidated management accounts
- Review regional financial results and provide variance analysis
- Help maintain group reporting packs and KPI dashboards
- Coordinate budgeting and forecasting across regions
- Support monthly forecasting and reporting consistency
- Maintain the finance reporting and deadlines calendar
- Coordinate input from regional finance teams and ensure deadlines are met
- Escalate issues and risks where needed
- Support audit and compliance processes
- Assist with intercompany and group finance processes
- Support system improvements, automation and finance projects
- Help with ERP and reporting system development
- Assist with ad hoc analysis and reporting
