Are you an experienced Finance Director or Financial Controller ready to take full ownership of a dynamic finance function? We’re partnering with a rapidly scaling business at the forefront of digital assets, with operations tied to the London Stock Exchange and compliance with British Cayman crypto regulations.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a sole-charge, No.1 finance role, working closely with the founders and leadership team to shape the financial strategy from the ground up. You’ll be instrumental in guiding the business through its next phase of significant growth, ensuring robust compliance, reporting, and strategic financial oversight as the company scales.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing financial reports, management accounts and variance analysis
  • Leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning cycles
  • Overseeing project accounting, including revenue recognition
  • Supporting consolidated reporting, scenario modelling and ad hoc analysis for the wider group
  • Providing actionable insights to improve financial performance and support strategic decision-making
  • Business partnering with finance, operations and leadership teams across the group
  • Occasional travel to other group sites when needed

About you:

  • Fully qualified accountant - CIMA preferred, ACCA, ACA or equivalent considered (QBE can be considered)
  • Background in Financial Services or Top Practice
  • Strong experience in management reporting, financial consolidation, budgeting and forecasting
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and present clear insights
  • Proactive, hands-on and collaborative approach
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills essential
  • Liaising with various teams (non finance related)
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); other languages are a bonus
  • Familiar with LSE and Crypto and British Cayman Crypto laws
