Credit Controller – 9-Month Contract to Permanent Opportunity Are you available to start a new role within a two-week notice period? I'm currently working with a fast-paced and growing business based in Watford that is looking to recruit a Credit Controller on an initial 9-month contract, with the potential to become a permanent position. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of credit control or accounts receivable experience who is looking to further develop their finance career within a supportive and dynamic environment. The Role As a Credit Controller, you will play a key role in managing customer accounts, improving cash flow, reducing aged debt, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Monitor customer accounts and maintain accurate records of outstanding balances. Proactively chase overdue payments via telephone, email, and written correspondence. Investigate and resolve invoice queries and payment disputes efficiently. Allocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts. Prepare and issue account statements and aged debtor reports. Support credit checks and credit limit reviews. Assist with month-end reporting and other finance administration tasks. About You Essential Skills Experience 1–2 years' experience within Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, or a similar finance role. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
