Do you have experience of preparing management accounts for various clients? A fantastic business who is rapidly growing are seeking an accountant to join their growing finance team. Modern spacious offices, with plenty of parking available the role will include the following:
Job Brief:
The role of the Senior Client Services Manager-Finance is to manage a mixture of bookkeepers, (PQ) accountants and more junior client services managers, overseeing a portfolio of clients in relation to all aspects of their outsourced financial operations, lending a hand where necessary
To ensure that all client financial records are maintained accurately, and that all financial reports are prepared on time. The role should be able to offer insights into financial information including accessing risks and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing all working papers and files, checking reconciliation have been completed correctly, journals posted correctly, and all information is adequately supported within templated working papers.
- Manage relationships with external auditors on behalf of clients and make sure all necessary information is supplied for completion.
- The ability to create budgets and short and long term cashflows.
- Prepare and submit management accounts packs to clients.
- To mentor and appraise all immediate reports.
- To manage resources and report to senior management with any resource issues.
- Provide weekly cash forecasts/payments lists and lead some weekly client cash calls and make bank payments on their behalf
- To understand and comply with financial policies and regulations.
- Assuring compliance with ICAEW quality assurance requirements.
