Senior Paraplanner Location: Taunton, Hybrid working Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Paraplanner to join a growing financial planning team in Taunton. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Financial Advisers by preparing high-quality suitability reports, conducting detailed technical research, and ensuring all recommendations are compliant with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate and compliant suitability reports based on Financial Adviser recommendations. Conduct detailed financial product, investment, and fund research to support client recommendations. Analyse complex client information, including income, assets, pensions, investments, and protection requirements. Support Advisers in developing tailored financial planning strategies for clients. Ensure all advice and documentation align with FCA regulations and internal compliance standards. Liaise closely with Financial Advisers and administration teams to gather, review, and clarify client information. Assist with cashflow modelling and the preparation of financial planning scenarios where required. Maintain accurate, organised, and up-to-date client records. Stay informed of changes to financial products, legislation, regulation, and market developments. Skills
