We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and professional Office Manager to join our client's friendly and supportive school team. This is a pivotal role within the school, responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all administrative functions while providing exceptional support to staff, pupils, parents, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school office and administrative systems.
  • Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external stakeholders.
  • Manage attendance records, pupil data, and school correspondence.
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team, including diary management.
  • Ensure office procedures are efficient, organised, and compliant with school policies and regulations.
  • Handle incoming telephone calls, emails, and general enquiries in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate digital and paper-based filing systems and records.
  • Support the wider school community with administrative requirements as needed.

Finance Support (Desirable)

  • Previous finance administration experience would be advantageous, including:
  • Assisting with invoicing and purchase orders.
  • Supporting budget monitoring and expenditure tracking.
  • Providing routine financial administration support to the School Business Manager.

About You

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using school management systems is beneficial (training can be provided).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Calm, professional, and approachable manner.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a school or office environment is desirable.

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS check is essential.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Pinner.
